The most comprehensive coverage of theses and dissertations done here at TAMU-CC is the Quick Search on the library's home page.
Let's say you're looking for a dissertation done in the Counseling department.
Using a keyword search, entering the words "counseling” and “dissertation" and “Texas A&M University Corpus Christi,” will bring up those dissertations written here. When a dissertation or thesis is available online, you will see a hyperlink to it. Otherwise, the dissertation or thesis is available in print.
TAMU-CC students, faculty, and staff have access to the Dissertations & Theses Global Full Text (ProQuest) database. Only dissertations published from 2012 on at TAMU-CC can be found here, usually in full text. The database can only be used off-campus by to TAMU-CC faculty, students, and staff.
Theses and dissertations published since 2012 are also in TAMU-CC's institutional repository and can be found at the link below. The dissertations can be searched in several ways, including issue date, author and subject.
Many of the older theses and dissertations may be checked out, under the same rules as other library print materials. A more complete collection of print theses and dissertations is available in Special Collections and Archives. These can be consulted in the Special Collections Reading Room, but cannot be checked out.
