Q. What happened to Lexis Nexis?

The library no longer subscribes to Lexis Nexis (aka Nexis Uni) as of July 1, 2019. We cancelled Lexis Nexis due to several reasons: 

- dramatic decline in usage for an expensive product
- duplication of much of the Lexis Nexis content in other databases
- unwillingness on the part of Lexis Nexis to meet certain contract terms required by TAMU System's contracts office

We know that there are some who relied on Lexis Nexis; it's never fun to lose access to a familiar resource. However, below are some recommended databases to consult in lieu of Lexis Nexis.
